Long-time Bimmer Fan, Coming Back to the Fold

Hello to All,

I ordered an M235i yesterday, after being away from BMW's for a few years. My past includes an E36 M3 and an S52 Z3 M Coupe.

I'm hoping BMW is finally coming to its senses, and recognizing that you can't track a two ton behemoth, even if it does have a zillion HP.

Looking forward to learning and sharing.

Best,

John

Welcome John!

The new M235i is a sweet handling machine. There's a lot of nice features, including the first-ever-for-BMW high lift door knobs and overhead fanshafts.

Kidding aside, I think you'll be real happy with your new M235i.

The car has come into Brunswick. As I just live an hour or so from the plant in Greer, my wife & I elected to do Performance Center Delivery. The LSD is going on before picking it up, but unfortunately, my local dealer is no longer a Dinan dealer. A Dinan re-flash is apparently good for a pretty big power bump.

Stay tuned (pun intended)...
