Greetings from BC

Hey everyone names Vince, I'm located in beautiful british columbia, canada. Currently I'm rolling in an A3 but my lease is up January '14. Seriously considering a 2 series after driving my buddies 135 a couple times this summer. One of my favourite things with the Audi is taking her up through the mountains, I know the 2 series handles those roads much much better than my A3 (from driving friends 135).

Only concern is winter time around here, we get ALOT of snow especially as you venture up the mountains. is the 235 expected to come in AWD?

Thanks everyone!!

Hey Vince, welcome to the forum. Been up to those parts a couple years back, EXCELLENT slopes if i might add.

Man if your serious about driving the 2 series is for you. Big beemer fans will say that the 2 series (1 before) held the true spirt of BMW. As the 3 series has grown over the years the 2 series has come to us between the size of the legendary 318 ti and the e36 M3.

Word of advice if you go with the 2 series get it as a M6, BMW makes butter clutches so even if youre not super stick experienced the BMW's cut down the learning curve severely.

enjoy..

Welcome to the forum.

I think you will have much more fun in the two series in the mountains than the A3. The only thing is it will perform differently during the winter seasons. Don't you guys get mostly just slush?

What made you change your mind on the A3 I am sure the buy out might be a reasonable price. Was it only the fact that it is an awd drive?

Welcome to the forum btw.

@OP don't give up on the A3 just yet, there's a new A3 sedan out now, it's probably best if you wait till both the 2 series and A3 sedan are out, drive the both of them and decide from their.

some reviewers actually loved the A3 sedan
