Suede looks cool but really hard to keep it looking good over time, I hopefully this won't be the only option we have for BMW M2 seats, I'd rather have all leather seats, so much easier to take care of and holds up longer.

I noticed BMW uses suede in the M trademark accessories. Its a nice and comfortable material but the maintenance is just a pain in the butt. Leather is more durable and still offers that luxury look. the suede material especially for a shift know where it will constantly be touched needs a lot of attention.

Well both the shift knob and steering wheel is the dirtiest and bacteria prone due to it being the most touched items in the car. For OCD or germaphobs I would carry some leather or suede wipes to keep them clean. And a brush for suede objects to keep it plush.
