BMW owners, or intending to buy?

How many of you are planning to purchase a 2-series BMW in the future, or any model BMW for that matter?

If you're a current BMW owner, what model are you driving?

As a first-time BMW owner, I'm just trying to get acquainted with the various models in terms of driver satisfaction, gripes, accolades, etc.

I might be depending on how I like it once I get behind the wheel, also going to wait for the wave of recalls to pass.

"Wave of recalls" sounds rather ominous. Is this a common occurrence with BMW across their product line? How do BMW recalls stack up against competitors such as Mercedes Benz?

Usually if it's the first year of a new model it will have some recalls and they will find out what they need to fix for the next year model.

The M235i is on my short list. I current DD is an E36 M3, so the 2 series is the closest model to what I want. I'm thinking of a European delivery if I actually buy one. I just need to keep saving for that down payment.

M235i on the ground, LSD being added. Planning Performance Center delivery on 10 Sept.

Anyone out there who's had a PCD?
