M235i Racing Design Sketch

The M235i Racing is supposed to be M's big return to Motorsport. BMW is looking to fill the need for a customer car under $100K, actually 59,500.00 Euros to be exact.

expect to see her in the VLN Endurance Championship and the 24 hours on the Nurburgring.

A widebody 2 series would be pretty sweet

Doubt it would sell as a production car though

Making a race version look like what's seen in the sketch above is very possible. Either BMW needs to make it happen or some tuner that has access to all the resources required to get it done.

This is most likely possible for the 2M model that will be released afterwards. With the wider rear quarter panel and fenders it allows room for plus size tire upgrading.

The front wide body panel doesn't look quite right. Is this on purpose or is it just a mistake in the rendering?

I like the idea of a wide body kit on the 2-Series though. Looking forward to seeing it IRL with all the racing decals.

I think the side panel you are talking about is a scoop of air vent. I am guess that it is the back end of a wind conduit that starts at the front bumper. I think it looks awkward without the decals. I want to see it done up for the race track.

basically the 2D model needs more smoother lines and make the widebody blend into the rest of the body in a cleaner way.
