Why is Valencia Orange only available on the 228i?

Anyone else noticed that?

I think it's good they do this. Offering the same colors across all trims gets boring. At least this way even the trims you buy stay unique, even from far.

makes no sense to me. If i want a specific color now i have to get a worse car.

Makes enough sense as a hole in the head.

tell that to the many car makers out there that have done this, it makes sense to them and to many people that buy them.

I wish you had choice of any color you want. I understand it probably has something to do with costs, but I think people would be willing to pay extra for a color if they really wanted it. If anything I think it should be separated by trim levels instead of model. O wait, that is what they are doing isn't it?

It is what they're doing.
IMO specific colors by trim is a good way to go about it.
By making people pay for a special color is also good but then it makes it so much easier for anyone to just add it rather then going a step up and getting a different experience along with the color.

BMW does do custom colors from what i know

it just cost more and the waiting times are longer.

IMO those custom colors are worth it if you really want to make your BMW different, but it could make it harder to sell if you want to one day sell it privately.

This Valencia Orange is looking so attractive and this is available only on BMW 228i. I think most of people would be willing to pay some extra for a specific color.
