BMW 2 Series Pricing?

What do you guys think the starting price of the 2 Series will be? I'm hoping under 30k to compete with Mercedes upcoming CLA. Or am I being to optimistic? Thoughts?

Seeing how the 2 series gran coupe will compete directly with the Mercedes CLA priced at $30 000, the 2 series gran should be around high 20k's to low 30k's .

I highly doubt that the 2 series will even be close to the 20k mark. I fanything it will probably start at mid 30s. I dont think Bmw is releasing the 2 series to compete directly to the mercedes CLA in terms of price.

Now looking back at the 1 series pricing, this will definitely be a 30k car. I think we'll be luck to see it start in the low 30k's.

Low 30k's and they'll be able to steal away some potential CLA buyers.

After looking up the CLA, it is a pretty enticing offer. Though it's the FWD that is priced under 30k with the AWD being about 3k more. Hopefully the 2 Series will at least be priced around 32k to undercut the AWD offering. I really don't have any interest in the FWD CLA model.

Hopefully the M235i will be priced right. I don't think I will be getting the M2 but more than likely the M235i coupe or cabriolet.

What do you guys think the M235i price will be?

For me it will really depend on the M2 pricing. If its too much I will just have to consider the 235i coupe instead. Not sure how the convertible 2 series will be priced but I won't being going for it.
