Canada 2-Series pricing?

Any word on Canadian pricing? My buddy in Canada wants to order a 2-Series but is not sure if the car will be in his budget.

Australian pricing was just released -- for a country with 13 million less people than Canada. Yet no Canadian info yet. Can we get some attention for Canada, ehhhh?

He can always get himself in line at the dealer and pre-order one and put down a deposit, just let him know to make sure it's a refundable deposit.

well there is a $4K difference between Canadian and US pricing for the 4 series. So if the 2 series projected US MSRP is $33,025 I'd expect $37K in Canada....

Probably better to compare pricing of the 1 series.

Just checked the BMW Canada website and the 1 series starts at $36,000, very close to what was mentioned above. I expect the 2 series to start just around that price.

With our dollar being within a few cents of the American dollar it is annoying to have to pay so much more for everything in Canada. I'll see commercials on American television saying that a car costs x amount and then I look and the Canadian pricing is a good couple thousand higher than the American price. I don't thin its necessary, I think they are just trying to gouge us for more profit.

we're a smaller market, they sell less cars here so we pay more. exchange rates have nothing to do with this.

plus USD is world reserve, there are certain perks that come with that.
