I thought I would be happy with a automatic because the two BMW were before the KIA that I had. The lack of power and the rattling of the motor at idle was killing me to. Some people can really make a Kia look good but it just was not for me.

Now with the TSX I picked up I love everything about it.
Understandable, when it comes to cars like that, they have to cheap out somewhere. At least now you have a MUCH better car.

Would you ever give them a second chance?

I really like the car I have now and I would have to say NO I will stay away from KIA. I would want to go with there higher end cars and if I was going to spend that kind of money I would go with BMW or Benz.

That does look cool just depends on the quality of the parts, inside and out.

You're right, it's something they're not famously known for.
Maybe they will come through with good quality and a good production design

Lets hope so for thier company it will keep them on a big roll if they do. They are coming out with some pretty expensive cars. It will be interesting to see if they can keep up what they are trying to do.

I think the cheap car makers like Kia are emboldened to increase prices of their offerings because luxury car makers have in a big way. For example, when the TT came out in 07, you could get a base model for $28-29k. Seven years later, they start at $40k. Granted, they now are all Quatros, but for those of you who might not want the decreased fuel economy, fwd might be the better choice.

As long as people are willing to pay, everyone will be willing to sell the product at a higher price !

We'll see, hopefully it all will go through the right way in due time. Just going to have to wait and see!
