Well the 2 Series Coupe should be available sometime at the end of 2013. No idea if there are even plans for the other ones.

I heard the 2 series coupe and cabriolet will start production in Q4 of 2013.

No one has seen anything about the 2 series sedan but we should sometime soon. It would be smart to release the 2 series sedan and coupe/convertible at the same time.

Apparently the 2M won't be released till 6 months to a year after the original 2 series basemodels launch

Found out today that the 2 series coupe and cabriolet models will come out for 2014 but a 2 series gran coupe won't become available till 2015.

Sucks to wait another year but at least this gives them time to build a better car

From browsing this forum it seems everyone is saying the 2 series will start around the low $30 000's. The Mercedes CLA starts at $29 900, so I think working off of the CLA's price is a start.

Mid 30s would be my best guess. While the CLA is a great price, it is based off FWD system is much cheaper than RWD that the 2 Series will have. I also think the 2 Series will be much more powerful.

I hope BMW releases the 2 series diesel in the first year of production and doesn't make us wait a year or two for it.

They already have a 3 series diesel on the road but it will take some time to properly integrate the diesel drivetrain into the 2 series chassis, which leaves me to believe a 2 series diesel can happen at any time.

A diesel would be a great idea, but I doubt it will be released in the first year. Unless it's already in the work and BMW is just waiting on the reveal. But I think we should have atleast heard something by now.
